Chemical and Pharma Units: Knowing Who Is Inside
In a unit handling hazardous processes, the most important question during an alarm is who is still on site and where they were going. A paper register cannot answer that quickly. VizPass derives the on-site list from check-ins and check-outs, so it can be read out as a roll call during an evacuation; knowing who is inside during an evacuation explains how.
To be clear about the line: VizPass keeps the gate record that auditors and inspectors ask for. It does not certify GMP or any other regulatory compliance, and it does not replace your plant's own safety system. It records visits; your safety team decides who may enter which area.
Material and Vehicles at the Gate
Outbound material needs an approval attached to it, and returnable items such as moulds, tools and samples need a record that stays open until they come back. A material gate pass does both, and the vehicle gate pass system records the vehicle and driver for inbound trucks and tankers.

Getting from a Demo to a Live Gate
Start with the gate that carries the most risk, which around Ahmedabad is usually a works gate with contractors, or a chemical unit's main gate. Load hosts, agencies and contract end dates before go-live, and run alongside the paper register for a week before switching over.

Is VizPass GMP Compliant for a Pharma Plant?
