Park security has already stopped the visitor once. At your Infopark or SmartCity desk the host has invited them by WhatsApp or email, so they walk in with a QR pass already issued.
A port-side gate is judged by the third truck of a rush, not the first. The driver is checked in as a visitor, details fill in from their mobile number, and the guard types the vehicle number.
Goods leaving a warehouse near Kalamassery or a unit on the Eloor belt go out on an approved material pass, returnable or not, on the Gate Control plan.
Maintenance and shutdown crews are checked in one worker at a time, with their company on the pass. A regular crew is recognised by phone number, so it moves quickly.
An Infopark office and a warehouse towards Kalamassery can sit on one company account. The dashboard and On Site list show who is inside each site and gate right now.
If something goes wrong at a unit near the Periyar, a Security Head or Company Admin raises an evacuation for the site, and the list of who is inside becomes the roll call.

Software. VizPass runs in a browser on the guard's phone or any Android tablet, so there is no kiosk or proprietary device to buy. Add a printer only if you want printed passes; otherwise the QR pass goes to the visitor's phone by WhatsApp or email.
Any site where a guard keeps a register today: office receptions and IT parks, pharma and chemical units, factories, warehouses, hospitals, schools and colleges, and construction sites. Each gets the same record of who came, whom they met and when they left, with material passes on the Gate Control plan where a plant needs them.
Perhaps not. The park's record shows who entered Infopark, not who came to your floor, which host they met or when they left, and it belongs to the park. VizPass gives you that second record, with pre-registration so guests arrive with a QR pass. If your office sees a handful of familiar visitors a week, the park's log may be enough.
Not in the app. Check-in needs a connection, and nothing is queued on the phone for later. If the network drops, the guard keeps a paper log and enters those visits once it is back, and they carry the time they were typed. Test mobile signal at the real gate position before go-live, ideally in a wet week.
Access is by role: six built-in roles plus custom roles. Sign-ins and every change to a visit are kept in a tamper-proof activity log, blocked people are refused at check-in, and records are held in Indian regions and deleted after the retention period you set, between 12 and 120 months.
Yes, for staff attendance. eSSL and ZKTeco biometric devices send punches to the VizPass Attendance module, which comes with the Attendance & Leave, Field Workforce and Enterprise plans, priced on request. The visitor plans do not include it. Every visitor record can also be downloaded as CSV.
One gate can go live on the day you start: set up the gate, invite your hosts and check in the first visitor. We suggest running it beside the paper register for a week, then adding your other gates. The demo and the go-live session both run on a video call.
No. VizPass is built and supported from Noida. Demos and go-live sessions for Kerala run on a video call pointed at your own gate, with your guards present, and on-site visits are arranged case by case, not same-day. Support is by phone, email and WhatsApp, Monday to Saturday, 9:30 to 18:30 IST.
Visitor data is held in Indian regions, and the hosting and residency page sets out where. VizPass keeps the record and, once you switch it on, deletes visits older than a retention period you set. Your company remains the data fiduciary under the DPDP Act, so meeting those duties stays with you.
